Q: Could you please share your personal inspiration for creating Fuji Kyoka and your decision to bring this virtual world to life, which seems to draw from Asian fairy tale worlds?
A: Fuji Kyoka was initially established in 2017 under the name Fuji Taiyou and underwent a transformation in 2018 when I changed the name to Fuji Kyoka. This evolution aimed to make the place more captivating. My inspiration for creating this virtual world comes from a combination of factors. I've always been deeply inspired by my trips to Japan and the rich history of China. Moreover, Asian-themed dramas from Korea, China, and Japan, with their captivating stories and fantastic historical settings, played a significant role in inspiring me to create an Asian-themed fantasy land in the Second Life virtual community.
Q: While exploring Fuji Kyoka, I noticed a complex teleporting system and numerous distinct locations. Could you provide some insights into the various areas within Fuji Kyoka and what they offer to visitors?
A: Fuji Kyoka is a vast sim with diverse locations to explore. We've introduced live shows, a dedicated stage, and live DJs streaming music to provide entertainment and gather people. We also offer a variety of games for visitors to enjoy. The sim is a celebration of creativity, art, and music, with many photo-friendly areas and romantic settings. Fuji Kyoka primarily serves as a source of inspiration for photography and my filmmaking endeavors. Visitors can enjoy Japanese tea houses, gardens, areas reminiscent of fantasy China, and more. It's challenging to list all the locations, but my personal favorites include the heavenly regions, the Kyoka Mansion high in the sky, and the school.
Q: I couldn't help but notice the stunning statues scattered throughout Fuji Kyoka. They appear to resemble RPG mobs, although they don't move. Is Fuji Kyoka intended to be a roleplay sim where people can engage in storytelling and communication, or is it primarily a landscaping sim with unique decor?
A: Fuji Kyoka was initially created for my personal inspiration and filmmaking projects. However, I've opened it to the public to share its beauty. While it wasn't originally designed as a roleplay sim, people are welcome to engage in roleplay if they desire. Some selected individuals do reside here, but it primarily serves as a place for everyone to visit, explore, take photos, and even make movies. There's an intriguing story associated with the sim, but revealing it would spoil my movie project. I'm willing to share the title, though, which is "The Legend of Fuji Kyoka."
Q: Do you have any future plans for expanding or adding new elements to Fuji Kyoka, like new locations or creative ideas?
A: Absolutely, I continually have fresh ideas and make adjustments to make Fuji Kyoka more captivating. These changes are always driven by my passion for the fairy tale stories I write and are particularly geared toward our annual photography contests. Additionally, I've designed other lands, such as the Rajput Palace inspired by ancient India, and there's a new project in the works based on Viking history. Thank you for your questions, and I appreciate your time. I hope Fuji Kyoka continues to attract many visitors and thrives for a long time.
Thank you so much for your answers. I appreciate for your time. I wish Fuji Kyoka many visitors and a long life.
