What is Faberge?

FABERGE is

A style of very expensive jewelry that uses enamels in deep, rich tones or subtle shimmers of varying shades. When the craftsmanship overshadows the cost of the materials from which the thing is made.

The series began in 1885, when Russian Emperor Alexander III ordered an Easter egg from Fabergé as a gift for his wife, Empress Maria Feodorovna.

Later, millionaires in Europe and America collected Faberge products as a symbol of status and wealth. Faberge became famous in the new century thanks to Forbes, Jan Fleming and Bondiana movie series, many celebrities from movie stars and businessmen to royal families.

The painting motifs are taken from the Russian national folk applied style, called “ZHOSTOVO”.The main motif of the painting is a simple floral bouquet in which large garden and small wildflowers alternate. Painting is usually done on a black background (sometimes on red, blue, green, silver).
